Introducing Sweta Kumari

Hi there,

I'm Sweta, I recently joined Griffiths Waite as a Senior Developer. Let me share a bit about myself and my journey so far!

Background

I am an Oracle Certified Associate (OCA). possess experience in all phases of the development cycle and possess knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall techniques. Having worked for banking, insurance, finance, telecom, and manufacturing clients, I have twelve years of experience in design, development, build release management, software configuration, and cloud-centric application development.

Interests

Outside of work, you can find me scrolling through social media, playing with my children, painting, or doing some yoga to unwind (maybe the occasional mocktail).

Role and Responsibilities

I'm thrilled to be a part of the Wispa squad here at Griffiths Waite! (Fun fact: we name our delivery teams after famous Cadbury Chocolate bars - It’s a Birmingham thing apparently). My main focus is Oracle development, but I'm also eager to dive into API work. With my wealth of past experiences, I'm excited to contribute to the team and drive positive changes wherever I can.

Onboarding

Getting settled in has been a breeze and I’ve felt comfortable from day one thanks to the warm welcome from everyone. The welcome pack was a lovely touch.

Experience so far

Working in the office again has been a nice change from my remote role during the pandemic. Sure, the commute takes some getting used to, but being part of such a supportive team makes it all worth it.
