Steven is Experience Director at Griffiths Waite, where he helps enterprise organisations turn AI ambition into practical, productised capability. Working at the intersection of product, design, and technology, Steven focuses on embedding intelligent systems into real-world environments, ensuring innovation translates into measurable business outcomes, not isolated experimentation.

With more than 25 years of experience across UX, product design, and digital delivery, Steven has built a career on bridging the gap between strategic intent and execution. He is known for his ability to simplify complexity and guide organisations toward solutions that work within the realities of legacy systems, organisational constraints, and evolving customer expectations.

Steven’s perspective is grounded in both entrepreneurial and enterprise experience. He founded and scaled a digital agency from the age of 25, delivering award-winning work for organisations including Carphone Warehouse, Goodyear Dunlop, Eurocell, and Eversheds. His work has been recognised with industry honours including an Outstanding Innovation Award (Creative City Awards) and a DADI Award for Best Retail Campaign.

He has since led UX strategy for Jaguar Land Rover’s global digital platforms and delivered enterprise-scale consultancy for organisations such as Barclaycard, improving customer journeys and platform usability at scale. This breadth of experience enables him to connect design decisions directly to commercial outcomes, ensuring that customer experience, product strategy, and business performance move in alignment.

Today, Steven is focused on how AI is reshaping the way products are conceived, designed, and delivered. Through his Applied Intelligence for Product Design framework, he helps organisations move from concept to validated impact in a matter of weeks, enabling teams to adopt AI responsibly while accelerating delivery and maintaining a strong focus on human experience.
