UK Oracle User Group (UKOUG) recently launched the UKOUG Partner of the Year Awards, a global first in being an Oracle Partner awards event voted for by customers.

Griffiths Waite are pleased to announce that we were nominated and won the category 'UKOUG Technology Partner of the Year', beating off tough competition.

We are delighted to announce our Director of SOA Professional Services Mark Simpson has been elected onto the prestigious 'Oracle ACE Director' program. This program recognises individuals that make an extraordinary contribution to a technology community.

Mark has been elected as Oracle ACE Director for Middleware and SOA - this is a great achievement for Griffiths Waite and Mark - there are only 20 worldwide in this category and Mark becomes the first Oracle ACE Director in the UK for SOA.

Forrester evaluated the major application server platform suites and vendors across 175 criteria and found that Oracle received the highest scores across all of the scenarios evaluated.

Butler Group announces Oracle as a SOA platform leader, and states that "Oracle has established a very strong and broad coverage of the SOA infrastructure market, and has successfully integrated its several acquisitions to create a coherent suite of capabilities, with further enhancements to come".

Oracle named as leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Application Infrastructure for New Service-Oriented Business Application Projects, and states that one of Oracle’s strength’s is their "Comprehensive Oracle Fusion Middleware product suite, including portal, EAS, composition and orchestration, ESB, development tools, metadata management, registry, security and management".
